Manifesting this power creates a barrier around the caster that absorbs all incoming spells, powers and spell(psionic)-like abilities. It can absorb up to 1d8+8 spell levels before collapsing.
Only spells which have spell resistance checks are absorbed, meaning helpful healing and protective spells do not get blocked, and any spells which do not require a spell resistance check do either. Dispel psionics or dispel magic checks and Breach are unaffected.
